- Undoubtedly the most popular of the lot, these are a common sight in almost all workshop and garages. These are available with a fixed base for regular usage or a swivel base that allows rotation through 360° with firm locking at any position. The swivel base allows the vice to be used in confined spaces or where the angle of the vice has to be adjusted to accept work of varying length.
- The Swivel base can be easily removed and the vice converted back to a regular fixed base vice.
- Warning: These vices are designed for gripping/ holding jobs and should not be used where heavy hammering is anticipated.
